A new Marist District of the Pacific has been established. Representatives gathered from Kiribati, the Fiji Islands, Samoa and New Zealand for a special Assembly in Auckland from 12th - 15th December, 2013 to celebrate the occasion. Among those present were Superior General Br Emili Túru, Br Michael de Waas from Rome, Br Jeff Crowe from Australia and new District Leader Br David McDonald. The decision to establish this District comes after a long period of discernment involving Marists from local and nearby regions. We wish our Marist Brothers, friends and colleagues in this new District God's richest blessings.
