On 18 March 2011, Catholic Religious Australia published 'The blogging Marist Brother' on its website. An article written about a Marist Brother, our own John McMahon, who through his faith and passion for Marcellin's charism and spirituality in education, realised a means to continue to educate and connect through social media.
Fourteen months on, John continues to educate (us all) through his strength and determination, demonstrating the purpose of life is being in the now - blogging and tweeting, as he creates an inspirational imprint within each of us whilst faced with the challenge of preserving his own wellbeing.
As we unite in prayer, may our continued love and support sustain him and nourish him and provide him with the strength to continue living Marcellin's dream.
